This site is my personal project log—a digital workbench where I document my deep dives into Smart Home tech, Automotive tinkering, and Mechanical builds and fixes. I started the G0b3x Base as a way to share the "how-to" (and the occasional "how-not-to") behind the things I build and fix.

Why join the Base?

While a lot of my journey like the introduction is public, to keep this site independent and ad-free , to see the resources (code, files, parts list) for simple projects you need to join the comunity and sign up for a free Base Camp member account. Then this content will be unlocked for you. The resources for the hard work are for Base Intel (paid) memebers.

  • Base Camp (free): I am sharing with you my quick wins and easy fixes, Code Files for simple DIY Projects for free. Comment Section is free for everyone. Did you found a post that could help you but have questions before buying a Base Intel membership? feel free to comment, I am more then happy to reply.
  • Base Intel (paid): The projects that require a bit more "blood, sweat, and gears" are reserved for Base Intel (paid) members. By joining the Base Intel, you unlock my full archive—including the deep dives, schematics, and parts lists I don't share anywhere else. You can grab your membership by clicking subscribe and chosing between Monthly and Yearly. For the moment you get a pretty good deal for the yearly one (67% discount).

Why the name?

Well, G0b3x started with my childhood nickname "gobi" derivated from Gabriel, my actual name. In the search for a better nickname for the online space, I thought to replace the "o" with a zero and inspired by the tech world I took the last letters from the word "Hex" or "Hexadecimal" and replaced the letter "e" with a "3", and that's how G0b3x came to life!

The Base is this very website, the means through which I share my labor of love and passion. If a guide here saved you some time or a trip to the mechanic, considering a coffee is a huge help—it goes directly toward the site's hosting fees and the parts for the next project.
